After a season of ups and downs for the Bears…their season has come to an end after losing to their biggest rival…the Green Bay Packers. From the entrance of a new coach, to the uncertainty of a starting quarterback the Bears had an intense season. On the other hand the Packers had their shares of ups and downs as well, dealing with injured players and within them their starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. But moving on… I will spare you the game details because I know many of you might have either watched, read or heard about the game and know that it was a very close game. So let me cut to the chase and the purpose of this post. I will say this is solely my opinion, feel free to disagree.
I do believe the Bears disappointed many, including myself, yes I believed
they actually had a chance to beat the packers and clinch the NFC North title. But to my dismay that did not happen, the Bears lost in the final minute of the game. I will say that no matter what many say or think I am proud of the season the Bears had, it could’ve been better but that’s football, you win some, you lose some. I truly feel that making a few glitches to the defense will strengthen the team, and that they can be the strong Bears team everybody wants. On the other hand Green Bay was the superior team, they seemed more composed and able to complete their plays. Rodgers returned from his injury stronger and able to give Green Bay a title. The season may be over for my Bears but the Wildcard games are going to be very challenging and like any football fan I’ll be looking forward to them. Until then, I bid you a prosperous new year full of happiness, health and…SPORTS! Au Revoir!
